  On Friday 28th October 2022 the annual Outdoors Queensland Awards took place online and saw outdoor recreation organisations and operators from around the state of Queensland gather virtually for the 2022 award recipients to be announced. Goombuckar Dancers are available to perform night programs at schools and corporate camps at QCCC Mapleton. The Goombuckar dance troupe consists of between 4 & 10 dancers who are descendants from the local Gubbi Gubbi people.
