Vertec Adventure has developed a leadership camp program designed to teach students more about themselves as well as how to work with and communicate with others around them. It puts them in challenging activities in order to help them learn how to handle different situations and work with their peers to overcome obstacles in life.
QCCC has partnered with Fathering Adventures since 2011 to bring their influential Fathering Adventure Weekends to South East Queensland. Facilitated by Darren Lewis, Queensland Father of the Year in 2011, these weekends are the ideal time to bond fathers with their children over a life-changing weekend. It’s a jam-packed weekend of quality time, adventure and throughout the weekend fathers receive some basic coaching on what it means to be an “intentional” father. You will be armed with all of the tools you need, to ensure your child knows deep in their heart, that they truly are your “beloved child”.

Aboriginal Australians have a long-term connection with our land and an important heritage of cooperation with nature, necessary to survive in a harsh land. QCCC acknowledges the original ownership and custodianship of Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their continuing cultures and the valuable contribution Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples make to our contemporary society. As part of our efforts towards reconciliation QCCC is proud to partner with Aboriginal Groups to host their events and to facilitate greater understanding between cultures. The Triballink Centre is empowered to provide Cultural Awareness classes and Indigenous Art workshops at QCCC sites.
