29 Jun On a budget? Noosa offers great value for group camps
Noosa offers great value for the camp budget.
Whether you are planning a school camp, church camp, youth camp, or a leadership camp, the budget is a key factor in many of the decisions that organisers make. Camping groups on a budget are looking for affordable opportunities to squeeze what they can out of every dollar available and to keep costs low for individual camping.
QCCC’s Noosa Outdoor Education Centre provides a unique setting for camp organisers on a budget, with 140 beds available in cabins or dorms, as well as tent camping site options to suit both small and large group numbers.
Campers can “rough it” survival style amongst 125 acres of native bushland, enjoy campfire cooking and cuisine, or still access some basic modern camp facilities. These facilities include showers and toilets, a self-catering kitchen, a multi-purpose barn, a conference hall, large activities oval, 15 metre swimming pool, basketball court, and beach volleyball court.
In addition to the facilities, there are plenty of extra activities available to ensure campers keep active and engaged. These could include raft building, bush tucker experiences, big oval games, bush survival skills training, clover-leaf style expedition programs to surrounding attractions (including Mount Tinbeerwah, Noosa Trails Network), and other outdoor education activities.
